Timetables and information

Lots of us find it hard to understand bus time tables, so we have added some useful information here.

WE DO NOT INCLUDE EVERY BUS, just a selection, based on what our members have told us about the routes and times they travel. Let us know if you want us to add a journey for you.

Remember, no timetable can be 100% accurate - drivers go sick and roadworks can cause delay.

GOING TO CORSHAM

Bus 231

Weekdays

Leaves from Bay 7 at Chippenham bus station at

8.15, 8.40, then at 15 and 45 minutes past the hour until 13.45

It calls at Sainsbury's on the way and, after Corsham, continues to Box and Bath.

The bus stop for Corsham town centre is Newlands Road near the Co-op.

RETURNING FROM CORSHAM

Bus 231

Weekdays

14.56, 15.26, 15.37 from Newlands Road, across the road from the Co-Op.

GOING TO BATH

Bus 231 (above) will get you there, but there is a quicker bus:

Bus X31

Weekdays

Leaves from Bay 7 at Chippenham bus station

8.55 then at 55 minutes past the hour until 14.55

The journey To Bath bus station takes 47 minutes as the X31 does not stop at every stop. If you are travelling from a different part of Chippenham, make sure the X31 stops where you are waiting.

RETURNING FROM BATH

Weekdays

15.00, 16.00, 17.10 from Bay 4 Bath bus station 

You can also return on the slower 231.

GOING TO LACOCK, MELKSHAM OR TROWBRIDGE

Bus X34

Weekdays

9.00, 9.30 then every half an hour until 13.00 from Bay 6 Chippenham bus station

Most of the buses also continue to Frome.

RETURNING ON THE X34

Weekdays

From Lacock - The George Inn at 12.12, 12.42 and every half hour until 15.12

From Melksham - Market Place at 12.01, 12.31 and every half hour until 15.01

From Trowbridge  - Trinity Church  at 12.29, 12.56 and every half hour until 14.29
